Trashlantis is a DIY, grass-roots, free immersive experiential discovery festival, plus two music stages!

Located near two major Sonoma bike trails, you can leave your car at home!
Costumed Bike Ride! Be part of an Entourage and ride your bike with one of our fabulous Kinetic Sculptures as we parade through town on a 10k rally
Park your bike in our hosted bike parking corral, bring your own camp chair and stay at the festival and rock out at one of our stages and cheer for your favorite upcycled ensemble at our Trashlantean Fashion Pageant
Bring your own utensils: we're offering vegetarian fare from Community Market and beer will be for sale for those over 21. Be sure you bring your own mug!
We'll spend the afternoon celebrating the creative, innovative ways we can embrace a zero waste future with activities and events showcasing artists and the emerging technologies and businesses who are repurposing, recycling and developing zero waste packaging and durable goods
Shop for a great upcycled Christmas gift at one of our vendors

Stay till the end to help us deconstruct the venue by sorting materials into their proper bins so they can re-enter the resource stream!

Trashlantis

Plastic trash washing into the ocean has mutated the ancient race of amphibious Atlanteans dwelling beneath the Great Pacific Gyre. They now rely on plastic as much as we do– but they can't manufacture it! They are coming to dry land, searching for plastic to sustain their mighty civilization. Welcome to the strangest Harvest Festival you've ever been too... it's a harvest of plastic and trash from our creeks and neighborhoods!

UP-cycle Rally
12pm to 2pm

Cheer on your favorite trashletes as they pedal their creations on a few of our local, outstanding bike trails. It's a Trashlantis styled steeplechase rally. Stick around for the awards ceremony afterwards!

Trashlantean Fashion Pageant
2pm to 3pm

Who is the fairest in the Gyre? Contestants imagine Trashlantean physiology and fashion and compete for your attention! The winner will be crowned our Grand Bok (Supreme High Majesty) and preside over the festival's awards ceremony and closing festivities.

Who is really working to close the loop on refuse and recycling? Meet industry leaders and local officials working towards a sustainable and equitable economy, and shop for fantastic upcycled and sustainable products and services from our wonderful vendors!
