Just One Flight
One seat on one flight emits about one ton of CO₂. That's a hefty carbon footprint for a single trip. By pledging to fly less, you can make a significant impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Flight Free USA is a people-powered campaign encouraging individuals to reconsider their air travel habits. By sharing our stories and choices, we can inspire cultural and systemic changes to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.

Although the air travel industry accounts for just 6-7% of global CO₂ emissions, half of those emissions occur at high altitudes where the warming effects are amplified, making each mile flown disproportionately damaging.
Air travel remains the safest travel mode per passenger mile and while you may land safely today, the cost to future generations means they might not find the runway tomorrow.
